A Brief Overview of CUSTOM BUILDERS

We are a general contractor engaged in residential, commercial, institutional, industrial, and heavy construction. In 1986, Steve Lammens, a former project manager with Fluor Corporation, formed CUSTOM BUILDERS. Working out of a warehouse on St. Croix's Gallows Bay area, CUSTOM BUILDERS began its first projects, mostly high-end residential. It did not take long before CUSTOM BUILDERS was participating in construction of larger commercial and multi-unit residential projects, along with industrial and historic restoration projects.

Early in 1995, CUSTOM BUILDERS expanded to St. Thomas,  and with our current partners, Custom Builders has the ability to provide proposals for projects in excess of $50 million.  Our policy with respect to owners and their representatives is that there is always a surplus of good construction firms competing for the privilege of participating in each major project. In order to earn the degree of client confidence and acceptance required to obtain our objectives, we must be a "superior" contractor, not merely a "good" contractor.
